Adding Zest was started in summer '09 with a desire to discuss issues related to our sexuality as Christian women.
We cover practical topics, spiritual dimensions of our sexuality, things we can do to prepare our hearts and bodies for our husbands, and more. We also have giveaways, guests who share their stories, and challenges like our Flash 'Em Friday to keep our marriage beds hot!

Heidi, though I have never been on a weekend getaway (married 16 yrs)oh how I would just love that my husband planned something like that. We too work at different times of the day and we literally see each other a few hours each week. When that comes around he is watching his t.v. shows and me crocheting or reading in another. I am always counting on him to make the move, (he's the man right!) But I to need to make the investment. I thank you for your post today, it meant alot to hear I am not the only one.

Hi, I'm stopping by from the blog party. Very interesting blog. I think some people forget that Christians are allowed to be sexual. I also think that people sometimes forget that it was God that created sex!

I love the name and the point of your blog! Several years ago I was trying to decide what to do with my life and at one point was seriously thinking of combining pastoral counseling and sex therapy...boy did that raise a lot of eyebrows! I didn't end up going that direction, but am thrilled that you have! I'll definitely be checking things out here!
