What's the opposite of expert?

Hi, I'm Marla, and I have no business giving advice on a sex blog. But I'm sure not going to let that stop me! A few years ago, my husband was hankering to know what in the world he could do to make me want sex more. And by golly, I had a list. Then, long story short, God showed me I was the problem. (This was not the first time this had happened, but I continue to insist I'm right until I see some proof. Problem is, there's always lots of proof.)

Anyway, long story made just a little bit longer, I decided to write a book. About sex. And how we wives aren't always in the mood. And why we maybe should be. Why we definitely should be.

The book is called Is That All He Thinks About? and in the weeks/months to come, I'll be chatting about some of the topics I cover in the book. I'll also address a few e-mail questions I've gotten from some sweet (and often hurting) gals about sex.

I'm married to an awesome guy by the name of Gabe Taviano, and we have three darling (and sometimes angelic) daughters--Olivia is 9, Ava's 7, and Nina is 4. We live in Columbus, Ohio where my husband is the new Director of Digital Presence at a local Christian radio station, and I stay home and write (except when I go away to speak) and cheer at soccer games and do dishes by hand since it's been 637 days since my dishwasher worked.

Oh, and our little family went to 52 Zoos in 52 Weeks from August 1, 2008 to August 1, 2009, and I'm writing a couple books about our adventure. It's a good thing we'd already talked to our older two about sex, because we sure saw a lot of it!

I'm thrilled to be here and to get to know some of you fine ladies a little better. One of my passions in life is to encourage wives to love on their husbands (and goodness knows, I could use the reminder myself most days too!). Talk to you again soon!
